Know which openings a player really plays

The Openings tab turns a player's tournament games into an opening tree: pick White or Black and follow the moves they played, position by position.

  • The moves played from each position, most played first, up to move 15
  • How many games went each way and how the player scored: wins, draws and losses
  • The ECO code and name of each position, with different move orders merged into the same position
  • The most recent games that reached the position, one click away from the board

How it works

No PGN files to upload: the games come from the tournaments themselves.

  1. Add your FIDE ID

Enter your FIDE ID in your settings, or open the page of any FIDE player from a ranking, a club or an event.

  2. Games are imported

Chess Hub fetches the player's games from tournaments published on Chess-Results and links them to their FIDE ID.

  3. Replay and study

Open any game on the board, see its opening and browse the player's opening tree as White and as Black.

Every FIDE player has a page with their rating history, their games and their openings — even if they don't use Chess Hub.

Prepare for your opponents
